By George, I Think She's Got It!

So, my boyfriend had told me this plan he and some of his friends came up with.  They each take a photo every day for 365 days.  Just one, of whatever they want.  What they see, a place, another person, what they wore...whatever.  One of them is overseas, one is in NY, and the other somewhere...


Anyway, the nerd in me couldn't help but think...what a freaking cool idea is this!  I am addicted to the idea of seeing into someone's world and, for that matter, someone seeing into mine with such a simple image, idea.  An avid follower of things like PostSecret (for years!) and now Tumblr and such, I'm a sucker for the novelty of it all.  


So, now, I want to play this game with myself.  Although it may be boring to you (or may not!), while I'm in New Hampshire for the next four months and as a way to force myself to decompress everyday (I tend to be a workaholic) by sitting at the computer for just a few minutes a day to talk...well, about myself/my life (selfish as it may be...), I want to upload one picture for every day.  And then perhaps blog about it.  If I want.  But certainly a picture.


A project in the making.  Huzzah!


But I figured this would be a fun way for me to connect to my friends and family, who miss me and visa versa as to what I am doing every day.  Well, a fragment of it anyway.


So, since I have missed it since Monday...I'm going to post a few here.  




Okay, so I lied.  I can't do just one pic for everyday here just yet.  This is what was waiting for me a week ago when I returned from summer camp in NH thanks to Matthew. :)  From left to right:  Ribbit, Duck, Lobby.  Happy family.

Today, Saturday, September 10, 2010.  You know, I always wished supermarkets would have a brochure on how to pick the proper produce.  Thank God Hannaford's of Manchester does and that my bestie, Tommy, found it...

I admit it.  I'm behind on my pictures.  I missed last night.   Oops. In my defense, I worked my tush off with Tommy running some much needed errands for the Palace and then taught class for Apprentice Company which was another success.  (Huzzah!)   Pair that with a super stuffy nose and sinuses that are just going wacko.  (New Hampshire and I have trouble with my allergies and hence have trouble mixing.  Argh.)  Trust me-the combo of coughing and a stuffy nose made the day felt longer than ever...when it really wasn't that long at all.  I'm pretty darn sure I went to bed before 11 PM.  Goodness gracious.   Anyhoo, so I'm playing catch up as I down cough syrup and vitamin C.   Fact of the matter.  Let's move on from this being behind issue. Yesterday's photo was this:   Now, at first glance...it's a traffic sign and obviously a highway or busy road of some sort.  A median in the middle.  A truck zooming past the sign in the background.

Okay.  So I'm not denying it.  Or saying I haven't known full well that I've been...well, sort of behind.  But let's face it... Life happened and I sort of fell behind IT.  So I couldn't much keep up with the blog in addition to the amount of things I was trying to keep up with.   -hangs head- Shameful.   So, this morning, I ventured back to my blog, I thought to myself, 'Oh, I know I've been slacking but it can't be THAT bad.  It can't be THAT long since my last post..." September 30th.   September 30th?!   Um.   This is what I have to say to that. So.   In this respect, I have NO idea where to start.  But I CAN share pictures and tell a little readers digest of the last month and a half.   Since my last post I have enjoyed an apple orchard and apple donuts. I'm Italian...I swear...

Another preface to Italy posting #2. Chris and I are currently sitting at a small table in the hallway of our B&B, eating the provided breakfast. And what is the provided breakfast today you ask? Well, for me it's my first cappacino (at yesterdays breakfast we had the Coffee Americano) for me and an espresso for Chris, fresh strawberries with plain yogurt on top, homemade croissants, nutella, fresh butter, pasteries, granola, ceral, fruit, pomegrante juice, and small soft pieces of bread that are set in a basket above the table. Soon (coming to a table near you ;)) is a plate of hams and cheeses and toast, a popular Italian breakfast topper, displayed on a circular wooden plate and as always, it is all displayed impeccabely. Oh yeah. Life is good. I love eating breakfast here. In New York, Matt's lucky to get me to eat his made from scratch breakfast's.
